Hawaiian Airlines increases Sydney services

first_imgSource = e-Travel Blackboard: N.J Hawaiian Airlines has announced it will increase capacity between Sydney and Honolulu, with an extra 26 flights on the route.Meeting demand to and from Hawaii, the extra services will takeoff from April 2013 and will include three extra flights per week between 4 April and 1 June. Utilising its 294-seat Airbus A330-200, extra services will add an extra 7,644 seats on the market.Flight HA436 will depart Sydney at 8.00 pm on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive in Honolulu early the same day, after crossing the international dateline. The return flight, HA435, will depart Honolulu on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 10.05 am, crossing the international dateline, and arriving in Sydney at 5.40 pm the following day. Hawaiian Airlines executive vice president and chief commercial officer Peter Ingram said demand on the route is “especially strong” and extra flights would “take advantage” of capacity where it is most needed.Increased services come less than a week after the carrier launched direct flights between Brisbane and Honolulu. last_img read more
