The Department of Social, Cultural, and Justice Studies at theUniversity of Tennessee at Chattanooga invites applications for atenure-track Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology.We seek a cultural anthropologist to teach sections of culturalanthropology, ethnographic methods, and upper-level undergraduatecourses based on the candidate’s area of specialization. We have astrong preference for a regional focus on Latin or South America.We are particularly interested in candidates whose research andteaching involves one or more of the following areas ofscholarship: the anthropology of food and subsistence, economicanthropology, environmental anthropology, applied anthropology, andethnographic methods.
