DPS said the collision caused a second collision involving the two trucks, which veered into northbound traffic and collided with a third dump truck.At approximately 2:15p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) received a report of a multiple vehicle crash on FM 365 in Jefferson County. The crash occurred about five miles north of I-10. Preliminary reports indicate that one of the dump trucks was pulling out from a private driveway, failed to yield the right of way and pulled out into the path of a second dump truck that was traveling southbound on FM 365. Both dump trucks collided and traveled into the northbound traffic lanes where a second collision occurred with a third dump truck. Fuel tanks occurred during both collisions and spilled fuel on the road. A HazMat team was called to the scene.While injuries were reported, the extent of the injuries was not known Thursday evening. All traffic, north and south, was closed and drivers were urged to find other travel routes.
